AER released the AER Domino 3 to be the successor to their popular AER Domino amplifier, but the result is a totally different class of acoustic combo amplifiers. The AER Domino 3 delivers stereo sound from two speakers with a powerful 600-watt power amp. Two independent effect units with 16 preset each address pairs of inputs to a pair of pre-amps in the back of the amp (for example, for 2, 3 or 4 channels). AER Domino 3 includes a PC interface that allows you to control the amp from your laptop easily and then manage the effects sent to the channels. You can also create and save your own sounds by utilizing the included Windows interface.
The AER Domino 3 is two small amps, each delivering 100 watts into a pair of 8 speakers; it can be used as a mini PA with four inputs (mini-out). All in a small and discreet enclosure weighing only 35 lb. AER Domino amplifiers are extremely clear and warm sounding and not overdriven with unusually loud sound boosts. It performs very well with piezo or magnetic pickups as well as microphones.
The AER Domino 3 includes AER's 32-bit effects processor that allows a wide variety of effects to be applied to each of the four input channels. Each channel receives its own unique effects-send sequence, so any of the four inputs can be directly controlled through the effects-send sequence. This allows you to produce sound effects that suit your instruments and voice. PC software includes controls to manage the different effects that are produced by the amp. Left and right outputs, combined with the pre-master output, give you the freedom to add an extra speaker or even a recording console to your sound setup.
