The classic Assault 220 from Kramer’s Assault Collection was one of the first Kramer models commissioned by Gibson Brands. Featuring a lightweight Mahogany body and Mahogany neck, a Floyd Rose® Licensed Tremolo with locking nut, and dual high output Alnico V humbuckers with a push/pull series/parallel switch on the neck pickup. Available in Alpine White finish with black open coil bobbins and in Black with black and red open coil bobbins.

For nearly two decades the lightweight Assault 220 has been a favorite of Kramer’s worldwide network of dedicated players and fans. The solid Mahogany body is reminiscent of the Les Paul Standard but has a sharper cutaway and comes in Alpine White with black binding on the body and headstock and pearloid fret markers while the Black finish has red binding on the body top and headstock with red fret markers. The Mahogany neck has an Ebony fingerboard, a 14" radius, a 25.5" scale, 24 medium jumbo frets, and a Floyd Rose® Licensed Tremolo with locking nut. The headstock has a vintage 1990s era Kramer logo.
The Assault 220 is powered by Kramer’s legendary Alnico V high output humbuckers. The Alpine finish features open-coil black bobbins and the Black finish has open coil black and red bobbins. A push/pull tone control allow for series/parallel switching on the neck pickup. Indented master controls for Volume and Tone have black metal knobs along with an indented 3-positive toggle switch
Kramer’s rock solid hardware includes a Floyd Rose® Licensed Tremolo with locking nut and high performance Kramer machine heads with a 14:1 turning ratio. An optional case is available through Kramer dealers.
