Exceptionally Versatile Dual-Channel Innovation
The original Rockerverb forged a devoted following for its legendary high-gain sound. The Mk III, naturally, continues this legacy, but with a remarkable twist. The Dirty channel embarks on a sonic journey from pristine cleanliness to gritty crunch and culminates in the heaviest modern saturation, all while maintaining impeccable clarity. Meanwhile, the non-master-volume Clean channel has undergone a complete reimagining, emerging with a more sparkling and crystalline character, further enhanced by a revamped two-band EQ section for precise control. The Mk III boasts even greater headroom and volume in full-power mode, giving you the power to shape your sound with finesse through the amp’s output power and Attenuator controls.
Effortless Footswitchable Valve-Driven Spring Reverb
Fueled by an ECC83/12AT7 valve and a custom-designed transformer, the spring-reverb circuit in the Mk III has received a substantial upgrade. Brighter and more adjustable than its predecessor, this opulent spring-reverb circuit effortlessly spans the spectrum from ethereal "air" to full-blown surf-rock vibes.
Masterful Footswitchable Attenuator Mastery
Achieve those raucous amp tones without disturbing your neighbor's peace. The Attenuator circuit, strategically positioned after the master volume controls, determines when and how the amp distorts post-preamp stage. This ingenious setup lets you decrease the overall volume level while maintaining complete mastery over the entire amp's clipping characteristics. Unlike typical loadboxes, our design preserves the crucial interaction between the output transformer and the speaker, ensuring that even at whisper-quiet volumes, your amp retains its lively and responsive nature. By turning the Attenuator control clockwise, you reduce the overall output level (effectively increasing attenuation), which can be instantly overridden via a footswitch for a volume boost on either channel, perfect for unleashing searing lead lines.
Selectable Output Power for Unparalleled Control
Take command of your amp's headroom and distortion dynamics by adjusting the output power. Lower the output for intensified output valve clipping and saturation at lower volume levels. Notably, the Rockerverb 50 Mk III introduces a "half-power" mode that lowers the plate voltage on the output valves, reducing the output power to a studio-friendly 25 watts.
Valve-Buffered Effects Loop for the Pedal Enthusiast
For those who cherish their pedalboard treasures, our impeccably transparent effects loop receives the royal treatment with a single ECC81/12AT7, ensuring an all-valve signal path from the moment your guitar signal enters until it exits the amp's speaker, preserving your pedal wizardry in its purest form.
