About Us

Guitars on Main is a family-owned music shop in Mount Joy, PA. We began in Lancaster in 2009 as Robert Putt Studios, offering private lessons and supporting local players. In 2018 we opened our doors in Mount Joy and grew into the full guitar store we are today.

We offer a curated selection of new and used guitars, amps, pedals, and accessories. Every instrument is checked and set up with care so it plays the way it should. Our repair bench handles everything from simple restrings to advanced fret and electronics work, and players trust us because we take the time to do things right.

Lessons are a core part of our business. We teach at both our Main Street shop and our Marietta Avenue location, providing a friendly and professional environment for students of all ages. Our instructors bring years of experience, and families appreciate the safe and comfortable atmosphere.
