Learn It, Then Practice It With Help Nearby

A lot can happen in a guitar lesson. Students may work on chords, songs, rhythm, technique, reading, or other new skills.

The Guitar Lab gives students something especially useful: time to work on what they have just learned while a coach is still there to help.

Students can try new material, repeat difficult sections, ask questions, and get feedback during the same session.

By the time they leave, they have already spent time practicing what they were taught.

What Happens During a Guitar Lab Session

Learn new material

Students work on music and skills that match where they are in their playing.

Practice while it is fresh

Instead of waiting until they get home, students have time during the session to work with what they were just shown.

Get help while working

A coach is nearby to answer questions, offer feedback, and help students work through trouble spots.

Leave knowing what to work on

Students go home with a clearer understanding of what they practiced and what they can continue working on between sessions.

Small Group Guitar Lessons With Individual Coaching

The Accelerated Guitar Lab is a small group program for kids and teens.

Students learn alongside other developing players while still receiving individual guidance from the coach.

The small group format gives students room to work independently while keeping help close by when they need it.

This is not a large classroom where everyone is expected to move at exactly the same pace. Students can spend time on their own material and receive guidance throughout the session.

Why 60 Minutes Matters

The longer session gives students time for both instruction and guided practice.

That extra time can be used to:

  • Work through newly introduced material
  • Repeat chords, riffs, songs, or exercises
  • Ask questions as they come up
  • Receive feedback while playing
  • Practice before leaving the studio

The goal is simple: give students enough time to both learn something and begin working with it before the session ends.

A Guitar Lesson With Guided Practice Built In

The Guitar Lab combines instruction with time to actually use what was taught.

Students are not simply shown new material and sent home. They have time to begin working on it during the session while support is available.

That is the idea behind the Accelerated Guitar Lab.

More time to learn.
More time to practice.
More help while they are doing it.
