A beautifully preserved example of Vox's EB-2-inspired semi-hollow bass from the late 1960s. This Italian-made Sidewinder IV is in excellent condition with all original electronics fully functional, including the onboard effects that rarely survive in working order.

The Sidewinder IV was Vox's answer to the Gibson EB-2, featuring a semi-hollow body, dual Ferro-Sonic pickups, and a suite of built-in battery-powered effects. These onboard circuits were sealed in a non-serviceable module, so finding one where everything still works is uncommon.

Features:

  • Semi-hollow body in Cherry finish
  • Dual Vox Ferro-Sonic pickups
  • Built-in effects: G tuner, distortion booster, treble/bass boosters (all working)
  • Vox double T-bar neck with adjustable steel rod
  • Fully adjustable bridge
  • Three-position pickup selector
  • One volume, two tone controls
  • Jumbo chrome machine heads

A rare find for collectors of 1960s Italian-made instruments or anyone looking for vintage vibe and genuine mojo.
