A striking early Divided by 13 rig with boutique build quality, custom looks, and serious player appeal.

2005 Divided by 13 RSA 31 Head with Matching 2x12 Cabinet and Flight Case

Fred Taccone built the RSA 31 as his answer to the great British EL84 amplifiers, and this one is the full two channel version in dark green tolex with cream trim. The chassis is stamped inside with the build date of December 16, 2005.

Channel One gives you Bass, Mid, Treble, and Volume, and that Mid control is the part players tend to talk about, since it lets you move the midrange around in a way the vintage designs never could. Channel Two is the Tone and Volume channel, built around a 5879 pentode, and it gets rawer and more forward when you want it. Two inputs per channel, plus a Full and Half power switch on the front for lower volume situations.

The matching 2x12 is loaded with Celestion G12 Alnico Blue speakers, which is the pairing Divided by 13 recommended for this amp. Chime and clarity up top, a low end that stays tight when you push it, and the kind of pick response that makes you play differently. In our experience it is also an excellent pedal platform.

Comes with the original Divided by 13 output jack and operation modes card, and an ATA flight case with casters for the cabinet.
