The Alvarez DYMR70SB Yairi Masterworks is a handcrafted slope-shoulder dreadnought built in Japan at the renowned Yairi workshop. Its all-solid tonewood construction pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with solid East Indian rosewood back and sides for a powerful, articulate acoustic voice with strong projection and depth.

The slope-shoulder dreadnought body gives the DYMR70SB its distinctive character, while hand-carved FTS2 forward-shifted scalloped bracing helps the top respond freely. Alvarez Yairi construction details include a one-piece mahogany neck with an extended dovetail neck joint and an ebony Direct Coupled bridge designed for efficient energy transfer.

Premium appointments include an ebony fingerboard, abalone and mother-of-pearl inlays, ivoroid binding, real bone nut and saddle, ebony bridge pins, and Gotoh 510 gold tuners with ebony buttons. A deluxe wood hardshell case is included.
