The Alvarez Yairi DY69 is a rare, handcrafted acoustic guitar made in 1994 at the Yairi workshop in Kani, Japan. This slope-shoulder dreadnought stands out with its unique pairing of a solid spruce top and burled mahogany (often referred to as lacewood) back and sides, delivering a warm, resonant tone with excellent clarity and projection.

Its mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard for a smooth, natural feel, while the detailed wooden inlaid rosette and tortoiseshell pickguard give it a classic look. The guitar features a “belly-up” bridge design with white abalone dot pins and comes equipped with a Fishman Matrix Infinity pickup system for plug-and-play performance.
