This guitar has been by my side for a little over three years now, and has yet to let me down. I’ve brought this guitar all over the country with me, and I get compliments everywhere I go. This has been my main gigging workhorse ever since I got it and for the price, it is the perfect guitar to take on the road and not worry about it getting beat up. This guitar has an ultra modern cutaway that makes playing past the 15th fret effortless, and the overall thickness of the body is slightly thinner than a standard singlecut guitar. This Dean is very lightweight for a solid body (~8lbs), and rings like a bell when strummed unplugged. Normally on guitars in this price range, you need to swap the pickups. This is not the case with this Dean. The stock Seymour Duncan set can handle anything from jazz to thrash metal with ease. The ebony board with jumbo frets makes the playability a step above most guitars. Looks great. Feels great. Sounds even better.

Thanks for this review Joe!. Dean makes a great guitar, I'm happy it is serving you so well!
