This model brings back the first full year of the humbucker equipped Goldtop style that helped define what most players picture when they think “Les Paul.” The recipe is classic. USA made Gibson Custombucker pickups, an ABR 1 Tune O Matic bridge, and a Stop Bar tailpiece for that thicker, louder, more sustaining voice that pushes an amp with ease.

Built with a mahogany body and a carved plain maple cap, it wears a Vintage Gloss Gold finish that looks authentically vintage without going heavy on the aged look. The one piece mahogany neck features a 50s Rounded profile that feels substantial in the hand, along with a long neck tenon for solid stability and strong sustain. A bound rosewood fretboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets keeps everything firmly in that late 50s lane.

The electronics are top shelf for this category, with hand wired controls using CTS potentiometers, Bumblebee paper in oil capacitors, and a Switchcraft toggle switch and output jack. It also includes a vintage inspired hardshell case with a brown exterior and pink plush interior.
