Epiphone SG Custom, Ebony

Part of Epiphone's Inspired by Gibson Collection, the SG Custom is the dressed up version of the SG shape, built the way Les Paul originally envisioned a "tuxedo" version of his solidbody model. It's a contoured, double cutaway mahogany body with a glued-in mahogany neck, finished here in Ebony.

The neck carries a 1960 SlimTaper C profile, not quite as thin as some vintage SGs but still fast under the hand, running into a bound ebony fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and pearloid block inlays. A pair of Epiphone ProBucker Custom humbuckers handle the tone, and everything is dressed in gold hardware with Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
