Built at PRS's Stevensville, Maryland factory on November 14, 2013, this P22 Artist-spec carries serial #13-205167 and ships fully set up by our shop.

The P22 is PRS's most versatile platform, and this one has the full system intact. Two output jacks on the lower bout -- MIX/MAG and dedicated PIEZO -- feed an LR Baggs-designed piezo preamp board mounted in the control cavity, connected via ribbon cable to piezo-equipped saddles in the tremolo bridge. Run it magnetic-only into your amp, piezo-only into a DI or acoustic amp, or blend the two signals for layered tones that no standard humbucker guitar can produce. The battery compartment is integrated into the output jack plate. Everything is original and fully functional.

On the magnetic side, the dedicated P22 humbuckers in cream rings deliver what you'd expect from a top-shelf PRS: chimey, touch-sensitive cleans and rich, singing lead tones with enough midrange complexity to sit well in a mix without carving. Controls are master volume and tone with black knobs, 3-way toggle selector.

The top is exceptional -- well above standard 10-top territory, with deep, broad flames running the full width of the body under a rich green burst that shifts from deep forest at the edges to a bright, almost golden center. It photographs dramatically and looks even better in person. The neck is rosewood with a Pattern Regular carve and the classic bird inlay fingerboard. The headstock wears the "Custom Built for U.S.A. Only" script and carries the Brazilian rosewood documentation that makes ownership and eventual resale straightforward. Hardware throughout is gold: PRS tremolo bridge with piezo saddles, Phase III locking tuners with gold buttons.

Condition is very good. There is light cosmetic wear consistent with careful use. The neck is straight, frets are healthy, and all electronics -- magnetic and piezo -- are fully functional.

Ships in the original blue velvet PRS hard shell case with the full documentation package: Brazilian rosewood letter, original hang tag (serial matches), original PRS literature, and the original Willcutt Guitars setup card from the first sale.
