The Taylor Academy 10e is an approachable acoustic-electric dreadnought designed to deliver the comfortable feel, clean craftsmanship, and balanced sound Taylor is known for. Its simple design keeps the focus on playability and tone, making it a strong choice for beginning players as well as experienced guitarists looking for a comfortable, dependable acoustic-electric.

The Academy 10e features a solid Sitka spruce top with layered sapele back and sides. An ergonomic armrest adds playing comfort, a feature more commonly associated with higher-end guitars. The smooth matte varnish finish and understated appointments give the guitar a clean, functional look.

Taylor’s sleek neck profile combines with a 24-7/8-inch scale length and 1-11/16-inch nut width for an easy-playing feel. The dreadnought body provides good projection and volume for strumming and flatpicking, with clear definition for single-note playing.

Taylor ES-B electronics provide straightforward amplified sound along with convenient onboard controls and a tuner.
