The gig bag was the perfect fit for my custom made bass and the delivery went out very promptly (but I paid UPS extra for the "hold for pickup" service because I wasn't in town and they lost track of it and was delayed for a few days but no fault of Guitars on Main). Thanks GoM!
This is my second guitar I have brought to Steve and Guitars on Main. The first time was perfect. I am mostly satisfied with the second one. The set up is absolutely perfect. The frets are much better than they were make no mistake about that, but there is still a little more fret spraut I wish wasn’t there. However it’s possible that was as much as could be done. Overall I’m happy and will bring more in the future.

We’re glad to hear the setup itself hit the mark and that the frets are noticeably improved. Fret end dressing is typically an add-on service, although Steve often does some complimentary smoothing when needed as part of his normal workflow. In your case, it sounds like there’s still a bit more comfort to be gained.
We also want to mention that we’re updating the Premium Setup description so this distinction is clearer and there’s no confusion going forward.

Awesome set up! Real quality workmanship in regards to premium set up, rewire and new pickup installation. With that being said, after dropping a little over $600.00 for the work that Steve did, I found a note on my receipt, recommending what brand of guitar I should buy because the ones I brought in require a tremendous amount of work!! I really didn't appreciate that after dropping that kind of cash! I didn't mind paying for Steve's amazing workmanship, but I could've done without Bob's note on my receipt. I was so pissed off after reading that on the receipt, that I didn't even want to test out the guitar in the store.

A well constructed, solid wood guitar with all of the brightness of Mahogany. Feels good to play, sounds great and the set up was dreamy! The built in pickup keeps the natural sound of an acoustic guitar, not a sort of electrified acoustic - a real plus. Never owned a Breedlove before but I am glad I have one now. An overall very nice instrument - I'll be using it in a praise and worship band, how fitting!

I'm quite pleased. My only concern was the planetary tuners. Out of the box the tuners were a little prone to backing off as per my general dislike of that style tuner. I did take the tuners apart and applied copious amounts of crushed rosin powder to the friction washers in the cups under the ****, and re-assembled/tightened back into place and they have been very reliable now. Other than that one issue (I knew about going into the purchase), the rest of the instrument is phenomenal! The tone and sustain is amazing, and the action is nice and light and darn perfect all the way up the fretboard! This is definitely my primary instrument now!
